Each year the Rose Festival Committee is committed to looking at new and exciting initiatives to complement the existing festival’s events and activities. The festival has a constantly changing array of open gardens to enjoy, spread out over numerous towns throughout the Riverland. With this in mind, we hope to keep the Renmark Rose Festival as fresh and vibrant as our wonderful roses.

The Riverland’s township’s rose gardens provide a spectacular backdrop throughout the festival and are immaculately presented.

The Renmark Riverland Rose Festival is a celebration of the region and its communities.  It’s an opportunity to showcase the regions produce, enjoy our spectacular weather and experience the beauty of the magnificent River Murray. Be welcomed by our diverse multicultural community and experience our friendly and accommodating hospitality.

Whether you are a Riverland local, or a visitor, we invite you to come and enjoy our Festival.

Flowers are picked from local gardens each year to make up the floral displays.

Floral Display

The annual Renmark Rose Festival Floral Display is hosted at the Renmark Institute – Ral Ral Avenue, Renmark, for the first three days of the festival only.

2018, was a special year for the festival, with the floral display theme: a tribute to David Ruston.

David Ruston is a prominent figure in the Riverland community, both he and his father inspired the idea for the festival. Roses have always been David’s great passion which has seen him achieve world recognition as an expert on roses and a talented flower arranger.

Setting up the institute takes hours of work and the help of many volunteers.
