Begin the morning by enjoying the carnival atmosphere in the beautiful Jarrett Memorial Gardens with a cooked breakfast Catered by the Renmark Lions Club. Then wander through the many Craft & Food Stalls, whilst being serenaded by the Riverland Band on the rotunda. Later in the morning enjoy Morning Tea in the Gardens served by the Renmark Paringa District Hospital Auxiliary Ladies $4.00 (Fund raiser for the hospital.) or enjoy a pancake prepared on the grill by the students at Renmark High School. Just the right time to buy that perfect gift for Christmas or just buy that special someone a bunch of freshly picked flowers. As noon approaches, Why not stay for lunch?

David Ruston has committed his life to the floricultural world. In 1968 David began the Ruston Rose Garden, now the largest private rose garden in the Southern Hemisphere and home of the National Rose Collection.
He has lectured and demonstrated flower arranging throughout the world. David is uniquely brilliant in his field, using his knowledge, skill and creativity to support communities and organisations locally and globally. His enthusiasm and generosity has been the hallmark of his life. David has received many prestigious awards culminating in being elected President Emeritus of the World Federation of Rose Societies in 2009.
The Public Art work to honour David, “A Life in Flowers” by Janette Moore and John Draper will be unveiled by the President of the World Federation of Rose Societies, Mrs Sheenagh Harris.
