C - THE GARDEN OF CYNTHIA THOMAS - This is a lovely compact waterwise garden divided into various ‘rooms'. The front section features colour matched roses, annuals and perennials, while at the back there is a wonderful vegetable garden, a fern house and a great section of drought tolerant plants. 2 Scarborough Court, Renmark, (see town map).

D - THE GARDEN OF DI SPEIGHT - This is a cottage style garden with an arch of Lorraine Lee in the front. Di has built many of the structures herself from recycled materials. E - THE GARDEN OF MR & MRS PPIROS - A beautiful in town garden always outstanding for its colour and form. Weeping roses on stands at the front overlook smaller plants and climbing roses all the way down the side fence give a wall of colour. F - THE GARDEN OF VIC HONEYCHURCH - At the good old age of 95, Vic could be one of Renmark's oldest gardeners. His garden is full of cacti and succulents, small and large. G - THE GARDEN OF CHRIS & TREVOR ANDERSON - Front garden shaded by a huge silver birch and grey junipers, mauve lantanas, mauve & white alyssum, a subtle colour harmony. No. A3 RUSTON’S ROSE GARDEN - Home of the National Rose Collection.
The earliest roses of the Ruston garden were planted in 1924 by Cuthbert (Rusty) Ruston and a few still survive. The planting of the 27 acres of roses and ornamentals started in the 1950’s by David Ruston until there were 50,000 bushes of 4,000 varieties making it one of the largest collections in the world. In 2003 David sold the property to his niece, Anne Ruston and husband Richard Fewster. The new visitor centre was opened on October 16th 2005 and named the David Ruston Visitor Centre and includes an exhibition of Richard’s collection of vintage cars.
